Anja Mikic

With nearly a decade at IWBI, Anja serves as co-lead of the Standard Development team, where she manages several team members, oversees the development of the WELL for residential program, and contributes to the ongoing evolution of the WELL Building Standard (WELL). Drawing on her expertise in stakeholder engagement and project management, she is dedicated to advancing WELL’s global impact through a people-first and evidence-based approach.

Anja has witnessed WELL evolve from a bold idea into a global movement shaping how we design and operate buildings and organizations for health and well-being. She is passionate about making healthy buildings accessible to everyone, everywhere. She holds degrees from Columbia University and UCLA, where she cultivated a foundation in health, research and systems thinking that continues to inform her work today.

We’re seeking a candidate who’s excited to make a meaningful impact. While there’s ample opportunity for growth in this role, we’re looking for someone who can take ownership of projects, work independently and bring strong attention to detail to everything they do.
